After extensive research, I needed to identify a design style that captured the dark undertones of the eBook while reflecting the perspective of a young girl navigating a world of dark deeds. Initial iterations focused heavily on a high-tech aesthetic and graphic elements of gore, which were not present in the book. Through further exploration, I realized that a tactile approach was crucial, as it aligned with how the characters engage with and solve the cases within the story.
